Hello everyone!

We have some wanted new features/updates for you! This time we have focused on improving the user experience and making it harder for users to make mistakes while uploading music.

  • UI improvements - We want our website to be a beautiful and easy to navigate service. We are working towards making the whole release process into a one-page experience. Therefore, audio files have been removed from their separate place and are now in the same place as the tracks info page. Another thing; we have made the audio/artwork uploader powered by PQINA change background color based on your theme. Here it is:

  • Improved way to add additional artists and songwriters. Before you needed to format your title with (feat. artist) to add featured artists, which resulted in easy confusion. Now, it is added through a new field called artists:

  • The latest release on the dashboard will turn red if it has been rejected or attention is needed. Also, now if an artist has been linked to a Spotify profile, it will be red and clickable.

  • On the album page, the songwriters' popup will now have colors for different types of artists/songwriters, to make it easier to read. Primary artists are green, featured artists are orange, and songwriters are light/dark (depending on your theme).

  • Now draft releases, rejected releases, and releases that need attention can expire, meaning your 'My Music' page won't get cluttered with rejected releases and drafts. Drafts expire after 7 days, rejected releases expire after 28 days, and releases that need attention expires after 90 days.

  • Uploaded audio is now playable on the album page and in the upload process.

  • When you upgrade your account from Plus to Label, you will now get a discount based on the time left of your subscription.

  • Artists can now be created directly from the uploading process, also artists now support Spotify URLs, instead of Spotify URIs.

  • More checks to prevent simple mistakes. When you are uploading your release, now it's not possible to upload an artwork that is not 3000x3000, and when clicking continue, if the files were uploaded incorrectly, you'll be told, instead of having to wait for your release to be rejected.

  • Also, if you haven't noticed, deposits have been removed, and instead, we now use Stripe to process payments, which means you can now pay with your credit card instead of PayPal.

Thanks for using Anti-Joy!
